Popocalypse: All-Female Cheesy Pop Tunes Night | Union Square

If you have a dollar and nothing to do on Thursday the 26th, you should head to 50 Mason Social House near Powell St. Bart. Why?Because inside 50 Mason Social House will be a six hour marathon of sheer unbridled fun.

The first four out of six hours will be an all female line up playing cheesy pop tunes by The Sugar Ponies, Lauren Crow and Her Handsome Hunks, Steffy Sue on the Ukelele, Jan Gilbert, and Liz O. Near the end, men will be invited on stage to perform, as long as they are wearing wigs and singing falsetto. There will also be caricatures, face painting, cupcakes, popcorn, and various unstructured activities such as pillow fights and spin the bottle.
