San Francisco’s best lady rapper, K. Flay, is about to make the rounds, so get your calendar ready. She’ll be headlining Popscene on April 5 at Rickshaw Stop, just after hitting SXSW. Plus dance to Popscene DJs Aaron Axelsen and Miles the DJ.
The World According to K.Flay
Born in IL, grew up when Jordan and Horace Grant ruled the world, when getting to 999 on your skip-it was a life goal, and when people still called 1-800-collect. Moved to CA and started making music in a dorm room. Now I make music in studios, apartments, and the front seat of my car. I call sneakers gym shoes and eat large quantities of Cheerios on a daily basis.
