“Popshop” Vintage Pop Up Experience: Art, Live Music & DJs | Mission Dist.

It’s a Saturday Pop Up Experience… a free day event feating live music, vintage clothing, art, a record sale, DJs plus drink specials and snacks. Thanks to dothebay for the tipoff.

The Marmaladies performing live at 2pm
Marmaladies is a SF based group merging many different genres into one cohesive roller coaster, featuring vocalist Kyle DeMartini and @Marit Savander who dive into a Lee and Nancy dynamic. Along side @Yogev Hilleron lead guitar playing some of the most unique, tasteful guitar riffs known to modern music. Jazz extraordinaire Craig Jacobs lays the sensual backbone, and Will Brayton as his groovy, bass counterpart. Something new and original, but familiar and nostalgic.

Griselda Calderon Lopez
Griselda is a San Francisco based multi-disciplinary artist working with light installations, video art, photo vignettes and poetry. Her work is influenced by finding and creating possibilities in the impossible by means of a narrative exploring the uncanny. She will be showing small drawings and paintings on paper at the pop-up.

Lorena Jimenez
Lorena is a film photographer currently based in San Francisco. Her photos explore the world around her and its characters. Lorena will be selling framed prints.

Michael Clavel De Vera
Bay Area based freelance artist and curator of UFO Gallery, Michael Clavel de Vera, will be sharing his comics and cartoons, showcasing his first zine, Sexopolos, Vol. 1.

Ryan Smith
Ryan was classically trained in the art of goldsmithing, at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, SF. Then is where he started his journey of fire & metal. Ryan is highly into fashion and expressing ones self via clothing & accessories.

Gregorio Figueroa
Gregorio is a conceptual artist who works in a plethora of Hybrid mediums including performance, Video, installation, sculpture, assemblage, social Intervention and Drawing.

Gillian Keller Artist – Enlightenment Barbie
Gillian paints spiritual imagery in a fantasy of psychedelia. Her works reflect beauty and darkness, humor and suffering, where rainbows abound, the sun smirks, and Christ on the crucifix is female. You can see more of her work and projects at https://www.enlightenmentbarbie.com/
