Celebrating Women’s History Month
A curated space for Black & Brown Women (21+)
Join WildFiya x Thread the Culture at the Richmond Museum of History and Culture for an intentional afternoon of soulful DIY and sisterhood.
This isn’t your average workshop—it’s a textile upcycling social. Guided by local Richmond based fashion & visual artist Kimberly Antoinette (Thread the Culture), we’ll turn “old” into “bold” by transforming reclaimed materials into custom patches, statement jewelry and more.
More Than Just Crafting
While your hands are busy, WildFiya will keep the energy flowing with curated games and deep-dive conversation prompts designed to spark laughter and authentic connection. We’re not just mending clothes; we’re threading new community bonds.
What to Expect:
The DIY Bar: We provide a full spread of fabrics, patches, art supplies and jewelry findings.
Complimentary Bites and Bubbles
The Vibe: A high-energy, soulful sanctuary to rest, play, and create.
All supplies will be provided but guests are welcome to bring a denim jacket, blazer or a tote to refresh.
