Event Details

Herby Lam will guide us through San Francisco’s Chinatown using his collection of century-old postcards, showcasing themes like street scenes, markets, festivals, and landmarks. A retired federal employee and Hong Kong immigrant, Lam is an avid collector of stamps, coins, postcards, and antiques, as well as a skilled photographer and graphic designer. He will present an authentic postcard of Notre Dame Cathedral, a coin album, and a custom-designed first day cover for attendees.
