New Presidio Parklands Project Site Tour is no longer taking place.

Learn more about the New Presidio Parklands Project, a new gateway to the visitor experience at the Presidio of San Francisco, a new kind of national park site located at the center of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, one of the largest urban national parks in the world.

The Presidio Trust, working with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Park Service, has selected five renowned firms to develop conceptual design and programming for 10 acres of new parkland that will be created in the Presidio atop a dramatic bluff with panoramic Golden Gate views. 

Site Tours are available every Friday from 4-5 pm. Hear more about the vision for re-connecting Crissy Field with the Main Post. Get your questions answered, and share your own ideas for this magnificent site.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Tours meet in the Presidio Trust lobby at 103 Montgomery Street, Main Post, in the Presidio.  Groups of eight (8) or more may request a private tour. Tours with fewer than eight participants may be cancelled 24-hours prior to start time. Registrants will be notified via email of any cancellations. Approximately ¼ mile of walking is involved, so please wear comfortable shoes.
