Come out to the Presidio’s Main Parade Lawn for National Night Out – a chance for the park emergency personnel and our Presidio neighbors to get to know each other through fun activities and demonstrations. This is a free event for the whole family.
National Night Out includes demonstrations, giveaways, and – of course – food trucks! Here’s your chance to learn more about fire prevention, child safety, and experience the US Park Police Horse and Canine divisions up close.
National Night Out – A Nationwide Event
National Night Out is part of an annual community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Each year, on the first Tuesday in August millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities in all fifty states, within U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide (note: Texas celebrates National Night Out on the first Tuesday in October).
