The National Center for Lesbian Rights will celebrate Pride in Golden Gate Park. The June 18th events will include family activities, a Juneteenth commemoration, honoring 50 years of Title IX, and—most importantly—all our Bay Area friends and family
After more than two years apart and in honor of this special anniversary, we are trying something new! Join us on June 18th to celebrate PRIDE IN THE PARK. Art, music, great food, cocktails and mocktails, inspiration, and community. The day’s events will include family activities, a Juneteenth commemoration, honoring 50 years of Title IX, and—most importantly—all our Bay Area friends and family.

4:00 pm Main Stage: Juneteenth Recognition with spoken word performance. Special guest Dana King, sculptor, and creator of Monumental Reckoning exhibit in GGP

5:00 pm Main Stage: 50 Years of Title IX (federal civil rights law banning sex discrimination in education or federally funding programs). Special guest TBA

Fun for the whole two-legged family (for safety purposes, we ask that you leave your four-legged kids at home)
Parking is limited in the park on Saturdays—alternative transport is encouraged.
Dress is Pride Party Festive—remember, it is a park and there will be some seating as well as picnic experiences. Be fabulous, but be comfortable!
