Event Details

California College of Arts students will present their final projects with projections on the sails of the 122 year old National Historic Landmark schooner, Alma, from 6-7 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013 on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Come witness the past and future collide in this unique combination of projection art and maritime culture.

CCA students in their course “Locative Media” will culminate the semester with beam projectors towards the bay and onto the sails of the historic Alma, to reveal their uniquely crafted video pieces. Based loosely on the poem, “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” and retrieved from some equally historic archival material, this will be a one off event and a solo opportunity not be missed.
