Los Medanos College will present a free performance of its nationally recognized production of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize winning play Fences at the beautifully renovated California Theatre in Pittsburg at 7 pm on February 12, 2014.
The performance is in preparation for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and a “thank you” to all of its supporters in Contra Costa County and beyond.
Under the guidance of Drama Chair, Nick Garcia, LMC Drama has participated in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for the past five years. This event not only honors excellence in college theatre, but serves as a vehicle to connect universities, state colleges, private colleges, and community colleges.
