Step inside the world of Rael San Fratello, the studio working at the edge of architecture and design. This survey features their projects at the U.S.-Mexico border, 3D printed crafts, and much more. One of the centerpieces of the exhibition is a large-scale commission 3D printed using only soil, straw, and water. Explore how Rael San Fratello fuses innovation and tradition to challenge the conventions of architecture.
YBCA galleries are open Thursday-Sunday from 11 am–5 pm, and Wednesdays 11 am–8 pm with free admission. YBCA is closed on November 11 (Veteran’s Day), November 26- 27 (Thanksgiving), December 24-25 (Winter Break), and January 1 (New Year).
