Come see a San Francisco classic for free: The Joy Luck Club.

This film, based on the novel The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, portrays several mother/daughter relationships and the varied difficulties and tragedies involved.

It’s being screened in the San Leandro Main Library’s beautiful Carnegie Lecture Hall. The film is rated “R” by the MPAA, so children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
