Event Details

Make this a simply delicious Valentine’s Day with some help…

Join culinary personality Rachelle Boucher and get “Drawn to the Kitchen” (that’s the name of her blog) as she re-creates her most romantic dinner in shades of seasonal red:

Learn to make (and then eat):

  • Dungeness Crab Bisque
  • Red Endive and “Beet Heart” Salad
  • Seared Sesame Tuna with Blood Orange-Lemongrass Vinaigrette
  • Side of Thai Red Rice
  • Red Velvet Cup Cakes with White Chocolate Hearts.

The deal: For $15, chef Rachelle Boucher will show you and your sweetie how to prepare this great Valentine’s Day feast together. Alone? We’d love you to come as well. You’ll get to make all of these courses yourselves and then you’ll get to eat it in a romantic afternoon.

This is one of the few cooking events at Macy’s Cellar that’s not a demonstration but an actual hands-on class. Because of this, participation will be capped at 30 cooks. To reserve a spot click here, pay at the door.

Plus, Free chocolate samples: Pure Dark chocolate, a new artisanal chocolate company that recently started selling its goods in the Marina, is going to be giving out some chocolate samples. Many of their products are good for cooking applications.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
