Are you in on SF’s One City One Book program, reading Dave Eggers‘ newest book Zeitoun about post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans?
If so, or if you have a compassionate eye then you should watch this free showing of the instructive, professional hour-long documentary “Storm that Drowned a City” (2005).
Featuring eyewitness testimony, NOVA takes an in-depth look at what made Hurricane Katrina so deadly and analyzes how, despite technically sophisticated flood and storm defenses, this event has resulted in unprecedented destruction for the Gulf Coast.
