Looking to connect with your local food community while staying home? On Thursday 10/15, Real Food Real Stories is hosting a virtual gathering with Chef Crystal Wahpepah of Wahpepah’s Kitchen. Join for Crystal’s story, q+a, and connection circles! Sign up here: http://bit.ly/RFRSxWAHPEPAH

A Kickapoo tribal member, Chef Crystal proudly serves authentic Native cuisine, continues to work on the Indigenous Food Movement and food sovereignty to revive Native foods and to show people how beautiful these foods are.

Real Food Real Stories (RFRS) is on a mission to humanize the food system for a connected, sustainable and just tomorrow. RFRS uplifts inspiring personal stories from the Bay Area food community and curates live monthly gatherings to foster a food culture around authentic sharing, generous listening, and a connection to our shared humanity.

This fall, we have the honor to hear stories from three Indigenous changemakers who are revitalizing their ancestral traditions, modeling the work of reconnecting with culturally rooted, ecologically responsible food practices.
