Rebel Film Night: Incite/Insight | SoMa
This monthly screening series focuses on local history and community outreach and is a collaboration between the Department of Anthropology and Social Change at CIIS, Shaping San Francisco, and the New Nothing Cinema.
All screenings will begin at 8 pm at The New Nothing Cinema. All shows are free and open to the public. They are participatory cinema events. Please bring beverages, light food, ideas and comments to share.

December 10A complicated look at the callous redevelopment policies that cleared several working-class neighborhoods in San Francisco during the 1960s and early 1970s. Surprisingly trade union leaders took the side of developers and helped sever the transmission belts of class memory that once persisted in the South of Market, the Fillmore, and elsewhere.
