Red Bull “Play and Destroy” iPod DJ Battle | Richmond Dist.

Red Bull is putting on a DJ battle at the Abbey Tavern with 16 wannabe DJs battling it out for supremacy using your mp3 player (an ipod, iphone, android or zune, if you have one of those crazy old things.)

Load your MP3 player with killer tunes and compete head-to-head across a variety of fun battlegories. Whoever wins the crowd wins it all.

16 people compete in an iPod battle of the categories:
– Best Make Out Song
– Best ’80s Song
– Boy Bands
– Stripper Anthems
– Workout Songs
– High School Dance Jam
– Singing in the Shower
– East vs. West Coast
– Making Love
– One Hit Wonders
– Cruising Songs
– Movie Soundtracks

21+ Only & Free Admission

RULES:
-Build playlists with your best songs for each category and battle your opponent for the grand prize.
-You’ll get to play each song for 30 seconds, so cue it up to the good part.
-3 songs per DJ per battlegory
-Winners are judged by the crowd response; ties are decided by playing an additional song.
-You must create a DJ Name for yourself in order to compete.
-No song can be used twice.

Grand prize is 2 VIP tickets to Eye Heart SF’s Streets of SF NYE Party with Moby; runner up wins 2 GA tickets.
