Don’t miss our very special Juneteenth Showings on June 19, opening with Bravemaker’s spotlight on Black independent filmmakers and powerful storytelling, followed by the 2024 feature film, Bob Marley: One Love.

This music documentary unravels the life of noteworthy musician Bob Marley. The film dissects the artist’s life, delving deep into his legacy and cultural influence. With untold stories and intimate details, the film unveils Marley’s true essence, presenting the man behind the image through his immortal music, inviting audiences to rediscover his impact in a revealing and captivating journey.

The evening is part of a larger initiative, where the public can experience the rich history of Juneteenth through the celebration of people, culture and traditions, all happening throughout Redwood City. These include a variety of programs and events showcasing art, history, storytelling, cooking and of course, Movies on the Square!
