Resound Ensemble is an auditioned, mixed-voice chorus who believes that ensemble singing is a visible metaphor of different people coming together to create beauty and harmony. At a Resound concert, there is no disconnect between art and popular music, and you will experience the
juxtaposition of unlike pieces to reveal something impossible if they were performed alone.

The evening includes a diverse selection of choral pieces, ranging from the exhilarating “A Jubilant Song” by Norman Dello Joio to the soul-stirring “Reincarnations” by Samuel Barber. You can also look forward to classics like Benjamin Britten’s “Hymn to St. Cecilia,” Eric Whitacre’s “Sleep,” and the mesmerizing title piece, “Sure on This Shining Night” by Morten Lauridsen. Wine and beer will be available all nights, and on Saturday evening, a reception will be hosted after the concert featuring snacks and refreshments.
