Reverend Payton’s Big Damn Band has neither a reverend or a big dam. But what they lack in nominative determinism (look it up), they make up for in wild, unapologetic blues. They’ve taken classic Americana and Blues, punched it up with a nod to Delta blues and hillbilly style, to create a sound that is both fresh, and reminiscent all at the same time. With these guys you just can’t help but want to slap your knees and grab a mouth harp.
Bring your best whiskey and overalls to this one, just so you wont feel left out.
