Rhythm Workshop & Outdoor Percussion Jam | Berkeley

Come learn to spit mad rhythms in this free workshop open to all – from beginner to advanced.

You’ll be playing rhythm games, learning a language of rhythmic units to draw from, doing call-and-response, and interlacing group rhythms on top of each other.

They’ll be bringing an assortment of things to hit for sound also, and invite folks to bring percussibles or other instruments of their own. They end with unstructured freestyle jam.

Please note that they’ll be meeting outside, and that if it rains, Rhythm Camp will be cancelled.
