R.O. Shapiro
R.O. Shapiro is a purveyor of original Americana music, carefully crafted and soulfully sung. Originally from the very east end of Long Island, NY, he spent several years touring and recording with the acoustic trio Odell Fox. When the members of the group went their separate ways in 2017, R.O. settled down in Austin, TX, where he developed a full-band, electrified sound, as heard on his 2021 release King Electric Sessions. A powerful performer of original heartfelt songs, and with a little bit of New York swagger and Texas twang, he’s drawn comparisons to Josh Ritter, Ray LaMontagne, and Nathaniel Rateliff. R.O. is a recent winner of the 2022 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk songwriting contest. He is currently based in California’s Bay Area, and regularly tours solo in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.

John Elliott
John Elliott is inspired equally by Bruce Springsteen and Eminem; Bob Dylan and Guns N’ Roses; Tom Petty and Queen. Born in Minnesota, John made his home in California and has been releasing albums and performing in every type of venue you can imagine for over twenty years. John remains an independent artist and he is proud of that fact. He has performed in every state of the union except Hawaii and much of Europe. His songs have been heard on Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and Californication. He has been featured in PASTE Magazine, NPR, Grammy.com, and Neil Young’s “Living With War” website. He releases a monthly-ish podcast called Audiodes and really loves to ride his bike. He continues to make a living and build a dedicated following the old fashioned way: one new believer at a time. The Band of Supervisors is a new band of musicians from the Bay Area and beyond, representing multiple counties and jurisdictions. It is an evolving Americana-Rock-Folk-Joy-Jam band that plays original music from John’s many albums of almost hits and near misses.
