Event Details

Join us in celebration of the recently donated Chuck Sperry Archive, now on display throughout the Main Library’s fourth floor.  Exhibited artists, friends, printmakers, rock-art aficionados, and patrons are all welcome.  Thursday, October 20th from 6-7 p.m.

In early 2011, Bay Area artist Chuck Sperry, of The Firehouse Kustom Rockart Company, donated a collection of over one hundred limited edition, hand-printed rock art posters to San Francisco Public Library.  Focused primarily on his Firehouse Goldenvoice Poster Series, this gorgeous archive highlights musicians such as Neko Case, The Black Keys, Motorhead, Nick Cave, and other Goldenvoice performers.

‘High Volume’ will be on display on the Main Library’s 4th floor, from October 7 – January 6th, 2012.
