Rock and roll from the late 60’s through late 70’s will be back for a brief moment in time in the Village Theatre Art Gallery with  James Fortune Photography: A Rock and Roll Portfolio 1967-1980 exhibition which will run September 28 through November 9.

The exhibit will feature limited edition photographs of famous rock and roll icons during 1967 through 1980. Several of his photos have been featured on many albums including Led Zeppelins How The West Was Won and Mothership, Iggy Pop’s California Bleeding and Ray Manzarek’s The Whole Thing Started with Rock & Roll. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have also included over 100 of James Fortune’s photos in their permanent collection.

Save the date for the Opening Reception, Friday, September 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There will be a rare personal appearance by James Fortune during the opening reception. Live music by the Shanks and beer sampling by Schubros Brewery will also be provided opening night.
