Oakland’s beloved Rockridge neighborhood will welcome thousands from all over the region to shop, dine and explore at our 13th Rockridge Out & About festival.

Mark your calendars now for a fun-filled day celebrating all that makes Rockridge a great place to live, work, shop, and play. The free, family-friendly festivities stretches along a leisurely 8-blocks of College Avenue from Claremont to Lawton.

Presented by the Rockridge District Association, the something-for-everyone street fair blends annual favorites with new activities while showcasing the 100+ ground floor shops and businesses that call Rockridge home.

Out & About 2019 promises another great Sunday afternoon of live music & dance up and down College Avenue. See the full lineup of Blues, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Reggae, Latin and more performed by talented local musicians including many who hail from Rockridge. The ever-popular high-flying, standing-room-only Kinetic Arts Center Circus Stage returns with three crowd-pleasing shows.

• 1:30 – 5:30- West Coast Blues Society Presents: Non-stop blues showcase and dancing

Harwood Stage

• 1:00 – 3:00- Clifton Street Regulars
  -Accomplished Jazz Quintet featuring Rockridge residents
  -Swing, Blues, Latin, and Bop
• 3:30 – 5:30- Grand Avenue Soul
  -Featuring Special Guest Tia Carroll
  -Danceable rock, soul, funk

Chabot Stage

• 1:00, 3:00, 5:00- Kinetic Arts Center Presents: Circus Spire Youth Troupe

Birch Court Music Pod

• 1:00 – 2:00- Solid Gold Stranger Bluegrass
• 3:00 – 4:00- RockRidge Station/Temescal Woodstock Revue

Shafter Stage

• 12:30 – 5:30- Floyd Pellom Presents: Jazz Showcase and Jam Session

Lawton Stage

• 12:45 – 1:30- Kaia, Oakland Singer Songwriter
• 2:00 – 5:00- Shabnam Dance Company Presents: Artistic belly dance performances from Oakland’s critically-acclaimed, all female dance troupe dedicated to the progression of Middle Eastern Dance while honoring its ancient roots. With live band.
