Event Details

The Wrecking Crew was a small, uncredited group of Los Angeles musicians that secretly played the instruments in place of the real bands on hundreds of Top 40 songs in the sixties and seventies.

They performed for several bands that were produced by Phil Spector, and other notable acts such as The Beach Boys, The Ronettes, Dusty Springfield, The Byrds, The Mamas and the Papas, Simon and Garfunkel and dozens upon dozens more.

Along with his talk, Kent will be showing a twenty-minute film featuring rare audio outtakes, Wrecking Crew film footage and more.
