Golden Gate Park Sunday Roller Disco Party (SF)

There is a place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park that is heaven for Bay Area inline skaters and roller skaters who like to boogie to the funky beat on wheels.

The Godfather of Skate brings his mobile DJ unit and plays groovy tunes for you to skate to. On most Sundays, there’s usually someone willing to teach you a few choreographed roller disco dance moves.

Expect a fun afternoon of roller disco action in Golden Gate Park celebrating the birthday of Beto “Mooncricket” Lopez, a local roller skating breakdancer.

Bring your skates (or rent them “across the street”) for this afternoon roller skating dance party highlighted by a group Thriller dance on roller skates.

There’s also a BBQ planned, so bring a few bucks to contribute, or bring some great food or drinks to share.
