Event Details

Roper’s Castro Bar Crawl — Come & Knock on Our Door!

Grab your brightest caftan, biggest wig, chunkiest jewelry, and most fabulous Helen Roper attitude and join us for an afternoon of laughs, cocktails, friendship, and Castro bar-hopping!

On Saturday, September 26, we’re bringing the colorful world of Three’s Company to San Francisco for the Mrs. Roper Castro Bar Crawl — a fun, welcoming afternoon celebrating an iconic TV character while supporting some of the Castro’s favorite neighborhood bars.

Whether you’re a longtime Three’s Company fan, a devoted Mrs. Roper impersonator, or simply looking for an excuse to put on something outrageous and spend an afternoon meeting people in the Castro, you’re welcome to join us.

And while the Helens may be the stars of the afternoon, Chrissy, Janet, Jack, and Larry are also welcome and encouraged! Come as your favorite Three’s Company character, create your own 1970s look, or just come as yourself.

The Crawl

We’ll make our way through the Castro throughout the afternoon:

11:00 AM — Midnight Sun
We’ll kick things off and gather the Helens for our first drinks of the day.

12:30 PM — The Mix Bar

1:30 PM — 440 Castro

2:30 PM — Twin Peaks Tavern

4:00 PM — Beaux

5:00 PM — Lookout

5:30 PM — Mrs. Roper Group Photo at Lookout
A group photo will be taken, so this is the moment to make sure the caftan is flowing, the wig is sitting high, and the jewelry is appropriately excessive.

The idea is simple: have fun, support local Castro businesses, make new friends, and reconnect with old ones.

You’re welcome to join us for the entire crawl or meet up with the group along the way.

What to Wear

Mrs. Roper’s attire is highly encouraged: think colorful caftans, oversized jewelry, big hair, bold prints, and unapologetic 1970s glamour. Creativity is encouraged — perfection definitely isn’t required.

Most importantly, come ready to have a good time.

Come and knock on our door — we’ve been waiting for you!
