The Firehouse Art Collective has been established for over ten years. In constant growth for the benefit of the struggling artist. A place where the artist can thrive, can be around other like mind individuals and sell their art in galleries in the East Bay area.

In this show you will see the raw emotions of the ones behind the brush. To completely expose your emotions on a canvas in the first place takes a courageous soul. The artists here are saying “This is me and even more than that, this is us”. They have a voice as artists, no matter how many times people try to look away.

This isn’t only them speaking for themselves but this is them speaking to you and with you. If you could see through the eyes of the artist, you would know that they can’t simply express their words so have to they take it out on the canvas.

The artist has been highly suppressed for centuries. This is them saying in 2016, they are still here taking a stand together. So come join them and be apart of something that makes people so incredibly human – emotions.
