Monte Rio, along the Russian River, hosts its annual two day “Big Rocky Games” with fun kids games and contests.

Friday, July 5: Big Rocky Games, Noon to 4 pm
Boat parade, water curtain and fireworks beginning at dusk
Please note, Friday’s Fireworks will be a dog free eventSaturday, July 6: Firehouse BBQ, Noon to 5 pm
On Friday, July 5, groups unveil their homemade floats decked in lights and perform skits while floating past a cheering audience.
Be sure to catch the free show at the town’s famous water curtain, as images of the American flag are projected off the Monte Rio bridge, followed by a dramatic fireworks display.
