SamTrans “Behind-The-Scenes” Open House Party | San Carlos

SamTrans is hosting an open house to offer the public a behind–the-scenes look at how service is delivered, plus lots of family-friendly fun, including free popcorn and lemonade.

The event will begin at the SamTrans headquarters in San Carlos, where attendees can check out employment opportunities, get transit information, and meet Transit Police Officers and the K-9 Unit.

Every 20 minutes, SamTrans’ new hybrid buses will carry passengers on a short trip to the agency’s South Base facility for a guided tour, featuring details on bus dispatching and a demonstration of vehicle cleaning and maintenance. There will be a drawing on each tour bus for a chance to win a goodie bag filled with cool SamTrans mementos.

Free parking is available at the SamTrans district headquarters at 1250 San Carlos Avenue.
