Event Details

74th San Francisco Greek Food Festival “A Journey of Greek Culture” will run September 19-21, 2025, in the Mission District. Free admission.

San Francisco, September, 2025–San Francisco’s long-running and beloved Greek Food Festival, “A Journey of Greek Culture,” returns to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral on 245 Valencia Street in the Mission District September 19-21, 2025. The Food Festival will run for three full days starting 11 am on Friday, September 19, in time for lunch again this year.

The San Francisco Food Festival will offer for purchase a wide variety of freshly homemade Greek food, including Spanakopita, Moussaka, Gemista (stuffed peppers), Gyros, and other meat and vegetarian options.

Our “cafenio” (coffee shop) set up will offer Greek desserts and coffee; there will be Greek wine, beer, and other drinks; and a variety of vendors will be on hand selling a selection of items. Traditional dance performances by award-winning folk dance groups will grace the festival, and music will be provided by DJ Jukebox C, who plays both new and classic Greek tunes.

The San Francisco Greek Food Festival has been proudly produced annually for the last seven decades by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of San Francisco members. It is an intergenerational effort designed to unite the broader community in celebration of Greek culture.

This year is especially meaningful as we welcome the Rev. Fr. Constantinos Economos as the 11th Proistamenos (priest) of our Cathedral. His installation marks an exciting new chapter in the spiritual life of our parish.

The event is easily accessible via public transportation and parking will be available at the Annunciation Cathedral for $20. Admission to the festival is free.
