Event Details

The 10-day long San Francisco Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival puts on a free show on Thursday, February 18, 2010 with traditional bluegrass bands High Country and Dark Hollow at Atlas Cafe in Potrero Hill

With driving rhythm, skillful picking, and soulful singing, High Country brings the energy and experience of six seasoned bluegrass professionals that have played many of the major U.S. and European bluegrass festivals and was the first West Coast band to play at Bill Monroe’s Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival.

Dark Hollow helped blaze a trail for the recent bluegrass revival in San Francisco, performing traditional favorites and original songs for more than seven years in the city’s Mission District.
