Event Details

The 14th Annual San Francisco Bluegrass and Old Time Festival runs from February 12-21, 2010 and features dozens of concerts throughout the city including this excellent free show with three live bands at Velo Rouge Cafe headlined by Jeannie & Chuck of the Country Roundup

  • Jeannie & Chuck Poling play acoustic bluegrass and music inspired by country music’s golden age of the 1940s–60s. Their signature sound is Jeannie’s voice — as sweet as Kentucky bourbon, as big as the Montana sky, and as clear as a Colorado mountain stream.
  • Keystone Crossing is a duo from Marin County that features just two guitars and two voices by Larry and Claudia angelic harmonies hearken back to the early days of country and bluegrass music, as they sing songs of the famous brother duos of that era – The Delmore, Louvin, and Everly Brothers.
  • The Courtney Janes are a duo from Marin County, grounded in acoustic folk and colored with the electric guitar and mandolin
