San Francisco City Hall “Goes Green” for St. Patrick’s Day | 2020

Every year, the city hall turns its lights green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a great photo opportunity for you to capture San Francisco at its most Irish (or when it’s most filled with envy… whatever you think the green means).

Lighting dates:
3/14/20 Green – St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Please note, the parade is now cancelled, but City Hall’s lights will still be going “green”)
3/17/20 Green – St. Patrick’s Day

The schedule is always tentative for the holiday lighting and subject to change when there are special events and the building is lit in honor of those.

UPDATE: Yes, this event was confirmed as still happening (as of 3/13 at 12:40 am). Things may change rapidly, so please check the website to confirm should you choose to go out. This event may be canceled or postponed at any time without any notice.

Please follow the CDC guidelines to help you determine if you’re comfortable attending.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
