San Francisco Golden Gate (SFGG) Youth Rugby is hosting a free rugby clinic at the Polo Field in Golden Gate Park Oct. 20th from Noon to 2 pm.

We run programs for Boys and Girls ages 3-14. They break into the following groups:

Tots: 3-5 – Movement, handling, and mini-games.
U8s: 5-7 – Flag Rugby, Co-Ed, 7 v 7
U10s: 8-9 – Tackle Rugby, Co-Ed, 10 v 10
U12s: 10-11 – Tackle Rugby, Co-Ed, 12 v 12
MS: 12-14 – Tackle Rugby, 15 v 15, Girls & Boys Teams

These non-contact sessions are designed to improve basic skills and introduce new players to rugby. It’s a great way to test out rugby and our community without a big commitment.

The Youth Rugby Winter Season runs from late November to March. The Summer Season runs from May to July. We have a team of great experienced coaches and a welcoming environment. We’d love to have you join.

Since the 1960s the San Francisco Golden Gate (SFGG) Rugby Club has promoted the rugby values of fitness, fair play, teamwork, and community in San Francisco.

Our players have gone on to play in the Olympics, for the US Eagles National Team, professionally around the world, and at many top colleges. Many more have spent a lifetime enjoying “The Game Played in Heaven.”
