Ain’t Misbehavin’ is a wonderful documentary presented by the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. Master filmmaker Marcel Ophüls (The Sorrow and the Pity; Hôtel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie) shares his rich, fascinating memories in this bittersweet trip through cinema history.
Ophüls, son of the great Max Ophüls, is incredibly honest and revealing as he talks with and about personalities like Jeanne Moreau, Bertold Brecht, Ernst Lubitsch, Otto Preminger, Woody Allen, Stanlely Kubrick and, of course, his friend François Truffaut.
