You don’t have to run marathons to be a part of The San Francisco Marathon experience. That’s because spectating is essential to the energy of marathons in San Francisco. Bring your full supply of positive vibes because when the race begins, the cheering never stops.

How Far Will You Go?

Full Marathon

Start Time: 5:15 a.m.
Start Line: Embarcadero at Mission
Finish Line: Embarcadero at Folsom
Distance: 26.2 miles with a 6-hour time limit.
Race Fee: $321

Bridge Half / 1st Half Marathon

Start Time: 6:30 a.m.
Start Line: Presidio, adjacent to Crissy Field Sports Basement (shuttle info below)
Finish Line: Golden Gate Park, on JFK at the Rose Garden
Distance: 13.1 miles with a 3 hour time limit.
Race Fee: $203

City Half / 2nd Half Marathon

Start Time: 8:15 a.m.
Start Line: Presidio, 610 Old Mason St. (see shuttle info below)
Finish Line: Embarcadero at Folsom (Full Marathon finish line)
Distance: 13.1 miles with a 3.5-hour time limit.
Race Fee: $203

The San Francisco 10k

Start Time: 7:00 a.m.
Start Line: The Embarcadero near Mission St.
Finish Line: The Embarcadero near Market St.
Distance: Flat 10k course (6.2 miles)
Race Fee: $93

5K Races (July 22-23)

Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
Start/Finish Line: Crissy Field, San Francisco, CA

Distance: Flat 3.1 Mile course (Course time limit is 1 hour)
Race Fee: $84

The Saturday 5k Waterfront race features a flat, fast course that’s perfect for racing with friends or walking with a stroller and family dog.
