Event Details

This documentary follows a year in the life of San Francisco in 2024 as it attempts to find its footing after an era of turmoil and tough headlines. Told through the voices of everyday residents; a homeless advocate, a Muni driver, artists, event-goers, and the people who quietly honor the unclaimed, the film pieces together a living mosaic of hope, grit and community. A cinematic montage of San Franciscans: weird, messy, beautiful and resilient featuring 30+ intimate, honest stories.

Participate in a Q&A after the film with the director, Adam Leao who will explain how and why he created this independent documentary filmed guerrilla-style inside the 7×7 picturesque footprint of SF using only natural light, no tripods and no studios. Other film participants may also be on hand.

NR, 91 mins., 2026. Closed captions (CC) in English.
