Stern Grove Festival’s 88th season of admission-free concerts kicks off on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Concerts take place every Sunday at 2 pm from June 15 to August 17.

And back for this year, Stern Grove Festival hosts a two-day farewell fundraiser “The Big Picnic” on Saturday and Sunday, August 16-17, 2025 to close out the season.

Ticket Lottery

New for 2025, Stern Grove has a new lottery-based ticket system. Six weeks before each concert, the online ticket lottery opens. You can find the lotteries on Stern Grove’s lineup page and on individual show pages. You’ll have one full week to enter and can request up to four tickets. Stern Grove will email everyone within a week of the lottery closing to let you know the results and provide information on how to claim your tickets.

If you win, tickets must be claimed within 72 hours or your unclaimed tickets will be released to other fans.

Community Box Offices

Stern Grove is giving you more ways to get tickets this year, including showing up in person. The day before each show, at least 1,000 tickets (10% of Stern Grove’s permitted capacity) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at our Community Box Offices throughout San Francisco.

To help share the experience, there’s a limit of two tickets per personAnd while you’re there, you can also pick up a limited-edition show poster—each one designed by a different San Franciscan artist.

Reserved Seating

If you’re a baller and you have $2,000 or more to donate, you can reserve a table for up to 10 people. Plus, new for 2025, you can donate $200 for one reserved seat at a community table.
