San Jose’s longest-running Juneteenth celebration returns for its 45th year, taking over Downtown San Jose’s SoFA District and Plaza de César Chávez for a full day of live music, culture, food, and community programming.
Presented by the African American Community Service Agency (AACSA), this massive downtown festival blends concert performances, cultural showcases, youth programming, vendors, and family activities across multiple blocks.
This year’s lineup brings a major R&B-heavy concert experience anchored by some of the genre’s most iconic voices.

- SWV — Grammy-nominated R&B trio behind “Weak,” “Right Here,” and “Rain”
- Montell Jordan — R&B hitmaker known for “This Is How We Do It”
