San Jose’s Holiday Ice Rink “Skate Under the Palms” (Nov. 26, 2025-Jan. 19, 2026)
Located at 120 S. Market St., the downtown San Jose rink opens on Wednesday, November 26, and operates daily through January 19, 2026.
Skate in true California style. A local tradition since 1994, Skate Under the Palms, formerly known as Downtown Ice in San Jose, is the only rink in the world that offers skating in and around a circle of 32 palm trees. Typically, there are special events throughout the season as well, but the 2025-26 event schedule has not yet been announced (as of 11/17/25). Get 90 minutes of free parking on weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends in select lots.
Although the 2025-26 schedule has yet to be announced, they have announced that they will host a couple of Bring Your Own Skate nights throughout the season, where skaters with their own skates can get a discount on admission.
