If you’ve never made or played on a Beach Propeller with other people, this is a great chance, during an ultra-low tide at Crissy Field Beach.
If you don’t know what a Beach Propeller is, see the info and video here.
During this playful gathering hosted by environmental artist Zach Pine in partnership with Kinetech Arts, NatureTrack, and Positive Ride, we’ll make beach propellers, use them for cooperative games and movement patterns together, and create freely on the wide beach. Part of the Beach Propellers Worldwide project.
Limited to 50 people by advance registration only via Eventbrite, and open to people of all ages. A limited number of all-terrain electric wheelchair attachments (Freedom Trax) are available (by reservation only) for people with limitations in mobility on sand.
