Lost & Out of Print Film Night | Berkeley
LOOP (Lost and Out of Print) is an all ages movie night of obscure films in 16mm and other film formats of all genres at The Tannery in Berkeley, CA.
They also host monthly VHS swaps where you bring your old cartoons, obscure television shows with taped commercials, OOP horror, Sci-Fi, and other novelty items for trade or sale.
Admission and parking are free, but donations are accepted. Doors are at 7 pm; screening is at 7:30 pm.
In Satanik (1968, 16mm/Color/Sound/86 min) a withered old hag turns into a beautiful young woman after drinking a youth formula.
In 1968, the target audience for this film were the readers of the hugely successful fumetti neri (Italian-noir pulp komik) that had already led to popular cinematic spin-offs of Diabolik (1968) and Kriminal (1966).
