Event Details

Enroll your kid in a single workshop session or in the whole season and learn how to draw a variety of different comics, cartoons, characters and more!

Saturday afternoon cartooning workshops meet monthly from 1–2:30pm at the Cartoon Art Museum IN PERSON! Students learn a variety of introductory skills, with subjects ranging from creating characters to writing stories to creating their own comic strips.

These workshops will be held in-person at the museum!

The Saturday Cartooning for Kids program is underwritten by the National Cartoonists Society Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Cartoonists Society (NCS), the world’s largest and most prestigious organization of professional cartoonists. NCS Foundation also supports Cartooning for Kids, a program that brings professional cartoonists from the NCS to draw for and with children patients of hospitals and healing centers all over America.
