“Two Good Things” Saturday Write Fever: Insta-Plays Written & Performed | SF
Every 2nd Saturday
Submitted by the Event Organizer
Every second Saturday of the month, EXIT Theatre invites writers, actors, directors, theater creators and theater audiences alike to a free evening of quick script-making and flash-fried performance.
Join in for:
- 8:30 pm: Mixer
- 9 pm: Writing sprint where writers have 30 minutes to generate original monologues based around that night’s pre-generated prompts
- 9:30 pm: Performance of the work on stage in the café for an on-the-spot, one-night-only instant festival
They cast actors from the crowd (no experience necessary), so come join in the communal creativity, either as a writer, performer, or audience member. There’s no need for reservations, though get there early to get your name on the writer list which caps at 16.
Admission to this event is free and the café open and staffed during the event, so you can purchase drinks and snacks all night long.

Get down and writing with ” Two Good Things.” Peanut butter and jelly. Dogs and cats. When two elements meet, it can mean bliss, or it can mean destruction. Harry meets Sally? Boy meets World? Godzilla meets Mothra?
Come out for a night of writing prompted by collisions, juxtapositions, and mash-ups.
