Blackbird Underpinnings, a new Oakland-based intimate apparel and loungewear company invites you to a swanky soiree at The New Parish in Oakland from 6-10 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

The party will feature Jeffrey Boozer spinning vintage vinyl, a saucy dance performance by vaudevillian trio My Honey Midnight, a pop-up free book giveaway by Libros Libres Oakland, enticing raffle prizes from local makers, and more fun surprises.

The company will be celebrating its debut line, the Maven Collection, and toasting the final stretch of its Kickstarter campaign to fund production with a local sewing manufacturer. The line will be produced in San Francisco, as supporting the local economy and apparel industry is a key part of Blackbird Underpinnings’ mission.
