Event Details

Noise Pop 2020 Music & Art Festival | SF

The Noise Pop Festival is San Francisco’s (and Funcheap’s) favorite indie music and art festival.

Now in its 28th year, Noise Pop has brought early exposure to many emerging artists in the Bay Area and beyond, many of whom have gone on to widespread acclaim like Raphael Saadiq, Benjamin Gibbard, Maya Jane Coles, Best Coast, Duster, Washed Out and Helado Negro.

Over the course of a week, from Monday, February 24 to Sunday, March 1, 2020 transforms the Bay Area into a festival ground with multiple events taking place across the city each night.

Scene Unseen | Noise Pop 2020 Music & Art Festival | SF

Noise Pop teams up with Do415 and DJ Dials to bring you the third annual edition of Scene Unseen, a showcase of up and coming artists from the Bay Area and beyond from 9 pm to 3 am on Friday, February 28, 2014.

Free, but an RSVP and printed confirmation are required. Entry is not guaranteed, so we recommend arriving early.

2014 Scene Unseen artists include:

Majical Cloudz – Straight out of music, culture, and art capital of Canada, Montreal, comes a duo of electronic-indie songsters who are ready to bring their brand of sample-fueled indie pop to the masses. Partners in crime Devon Welsh and Matthew Otto use loops, synths, samples, and noise to create tunes that are simple yet layered.

Mr Carmack – Hip hop mixmaster, dance and world music producer, Mr Carmack has been not-so-quietly making waves from his home base of Honolulu since self-releasing a series of critically acclaimed EPs that make you move and think.

Kelela Mizanekristos is a singer based in Los Angeles. Her heritage is Ethiopian, and as a teenager she was voted Most Likely to Be a Pop Star.

Supreme Cuts – The Chicago-based production duo Mike Perry and Austin Kjeultes  extend their productions into the worlds of house music and footwork whilst experimenting with array of different pop structures.

Purple – For the last six years, Luis Dourado has been writing, producing, and singing under the alias Purple, an ominous apparition that allows the Portuguese musician to blend the aforementioned talents into one artistic breath. Growing up in the Porto, Purple was first introduced to the scene through Terrain Ahead, an electronic collective/label he founded with fellow Portugal artists IVVVO and Trikk.

Please note, you must print your confirmation email and bring it to the club. No backpacks allowed.
