Event Details

The Australian physician Helen Caldicott, better known as the world’s foremost expert on nuclear dangers, will lecture, free of charge, on “Nuclear Weapons: Can They Be Abolished?” She will also answer questions and sign books by her.

The discussion starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, at the San Francisco Public Library, in the Koret Auditorium on the lower level. Cosponsors are the library’s Business, Science, and Technology Department and a Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament, made up of 13 peace groups.
