Free workshop about growing edible plants appropriate for the cool or warm season.
Topics include: cool season versus warm season selection, growing from seed versus vegetable starts, preparing the soil, how to use fertilizer, how to apply compost, proper watering and how to identify and treat pests and disease.
This is a forty five minute presentation followed by a thirty minute question and answer session. Media will include video and slides
